EVENT WRAP-UP: 2016 MYER AUTUMN RACING SEASON LAUNCH

This week, Myer celebrated the launch of the Autumn Racing season with the Face of Myer, Jennifer Hawkins, at an intimate lunch with a group of Sydney’s most stylish people. As an official fashion partner of the Australian Turf Club, naturally the day revolved around racewear fashion. Jennifer Hawkins opted for a stunning White Suede dress. Host and Myer Ambassador, Rachael Finch, wore an Aje blouse and skirt and an Olga Berg clutch, while fellow Myer Ambassador, Jodi Anasta, looked as chic in her Nicola Finetti dress. Gathering at Sydney’s latest hot spot, Silvereye in Chippendale, the launch saw guests including Bambi Northwood-Blyth, Tanja Gacic, Kyly Clarke, Nikki Phillips, and Zac and Jordan Stenmark treated to a delicious four-course lunch, and a stunning showcase of Autumn’s standout racewear trends. From rich florals in shades of navy and burgundy to bold colours in geometric shapes, there’s no denying that colour is certainly the way to go this season. Ladylike silhouettes and lace fabrics are also trending, providing a more romantic take on traditional trackside dressing. All bags featured in the parade are by Olga Berg.
